Megan Currie
Associate Attorney
Megan earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating Summa Cum Laude in Political Science. Megan then attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude. While in law school, she clerked for a local family law firm and began honing her skills in Family Law litigation.
After law school, Megan’s legal career began behind the scenes as a law clerk for the Honorable Adam Caine in the 16th Circuit Court at Kansas City, Missouri. There, Megan gained a strong understanding of the legal process, the needs and expectations of judges, and how best to support her clients on the other side of the table. Megan uses this insight to effectively advocate for her clients, understanding that many of them are experiencing the court system for the first time, and she ensures support and education to help them reduce stress throughout the case.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Megan is an avid Cardinals baseball fan. Since moving to Kansas City, she has become a Chiefs fan, but will never convert to a Royals fan. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her two cats, Jack and Zola.
Megan is a calm presence to her clients, bringing thoughtful, skillful, and diligent strategy to their family law cases in Kansas and Missouri.
